INKLESS TATTOO or STRETCH MARK TREATMENT smooths wrinkly and deeper stretch marks. It aims to shrink and flatten stretch marks and scars to make them less noticeable. It carefully creates micro-abrasions into the dermis layer with a rotary tattoo machine while depositing a custom blend of natural oils and vitamins. This technique triggers your body’s own natural healing response and produces new collagen and elastin which improves cellular turnover and rejuvenation of fibroblast cells.
Once the treated area is completely healed it will improve appearance, texture and the tone of your stretch marks. Clients usually see 20-80% improvement after the first session; however results vary per person as our individual bodies heal differently.
The inkless stretch mark treatment uses tattoo machines and cartridges, with a smaller amount of needles which are able to penetrate the skin more easily, and target only the scar area which needs repairing. The needles penetrating the skin and stimlating new collagen.
We often are asked what is diference between microneedling and inkless tattoo?
This is in comparison to microneedling, which uses a much bigger needle cartridge covering a larger area. By using a thin tattoo needle, we are able to penetrate the skin more easily, and target stretch marks much more accurately. It is far more effective compared to microneedling.
We use hyaluronic Acid cerum during treatment for the greater results. Treatment is effective without cerum as well but some of us have sensitivities and for those we skip the serum.
Q: What does this treatment do for my scars and scars?
A: New production of collagen and elastin is triggered by your body’s natural healing process and new and healthier scar tissue grows. The new scar tissue will appear smoother and their color tone will gradually even out and normalize after each session. Tight scars will loosen up and become less restricted. Scars that are bumpy can also start smoothing and flattening down.
Q: How soon can you return to work?
A: You can return to work right away. There is no down time at all.
Q: What areas do we treat?
A: We treat the following areas: Abdomen, Back, Thighs, Buttocks, Hips, Upper Arms, Behind the knee, Calves and Breasts, Practically any body part with scars or stretch marks.
Q: How long does each session take? A: A typical session takes between 1 and 2 hours. It all depends on the area being treated.
Q: How many sessions are required? A: Clients could require 2 to 5 sessions to achieve desired results; however some clients are happy with their results after just 2 sessions.
Q: How long does it take to fully heal? A: It typically takes 4-6 weeks for complete healing. However it may take longer for some individuals..
Q: Is this treatment painful? A: The pain sensation is relative to each person’s tolerance threshold; however most clients describe it as “not” painful at all. It is similar to a Permanent Makeup treatment and less painful than a regular tattoo.
Q: What does the healing process look like? A: There is no downtime but you will experience redness and swelling immediately after the procedure for the first 5 days. Over the next 4 – 12 weeks the redness will subside and the areas that were treated will go through a variety of shades of red, to dark brown and gradually back to light colored until your skin heals. Remember to carefully follow all aftercare instructions we provided. This is a process so please be patient and trust the process. It is completely normal for areas to be darker for several weeks before they subside and get light again.
